Acorn Barn sits in the heart of Gorsedown Farm, an arable and sheep farm on Romney Marsh in Kent.  Being at the very end of the farm drive you will enjoy uninterrupted views across the marsh to the coast. On a clear day you can sometimes see the French Coast.

The barn itself is surrounded by farm land. This season the fields are cropped with corn and oilseed rape. Whilst this will ensure peace and privacy for most of the year, please be aware that crops need to be tended and harvested. Please also be aware that those with hay fever may wish to avoid certain times of the year.

The owners’ horses graze to the side and rear of the farmhouse. The farmhouse and barn are some distance apart , well screened from each other.

Whilst sadly, because of the working farm, we do not encourage young children and pets, we can offer our guests the opportunity to walk and explore the farm and surrounding Romney Marsh.

If you have any questions about the barn you are always free to telephone or email the owners, Will and Sara.
